Catcher in the Rye

In English I'm studying the novel Catcher in the Rye. Today we were analysing the main character, Holden, and his love for writing. I said that it could be because he wants to find a way to vent his thoughts and feelings without having to go up to someone and directly say what he feels he needs to say. I then realised that I am Holden. My three A-Level subjects are English, Psychology and Sociology which are all subjects that need opinions and strong veiw points. I'm using my work to vent out how I feel and tbh, right now its working for me. I feel like I fit in at school. I know that people are all being false and dont really like me, yet I feel like I belong there. Its hard to explain. But I sort of like it this way I guess :)
